Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and/or topical medications, and promptly notifying supervisors of any errors or reactions.
  • The position requires participation in quality assurance programs and continuing education to maintain professional standards and certification.
