Mercy Health is seeking a Group Formation Lead to implement mission formation strategies and support staff across their healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have experience in education and training within a health or aged care context, along with a strong understanding of Catholic theology

Job Summary

  • Play a pivotal role in implementing the Mission Formation Strategy, including through planning, implementing and evaluating formation and education opportunities for staff at all levels of Mercy Health.
  • Maintain working relationships with leaders and managers and support them in developing their staff in relation to mission and formation.
  • Support staff and leaders to understand Catholic teaching with regard to ethical issues in health and aged care.

  • Proven excellence in creating, facilitating and coordinating formation, education or training
  • Proven capability to model and promote reflective practice
  • Practical experience, knowledge and understanding of application of Catholic theology, Catholic Social Teaching principles and contemporary teachings of the Catholic Church
  • A current Police Record Check
