Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Service Scope Serve as the technical specialist for engine-related servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities Provide support across additional marine equipment such as deck machinery and lifting systems Act as the main point of expertise for technical matters related to propulsion systems Assist in both pre-sales and after-sales support for customers on technical requirements Carry out commissioning, inspection, repair, overhaul, and upgrade works for onboard systems and equipment Handle component replacements and refurbishment activities where required Ensure familiarity with shipyard practices and port-related procedures Diagnostics & Engineering Work Apply knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to diagnose faults and optimize equipment performance Perform testing, calibration, and adjustments on operational machinery Reporting & AdministrationPrepare detailed service reports for all completed assignments Ensure timely submission of claims, including overtime and travel-related allowances Provide feedback from site activities to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement Training & ComplianceParticipate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance technical competencies Ensure all required certifications are valid and up to date for operational duties RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline Experience with PLC and HMI systems (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, Schneider or equivalent) Prior exposure to marine or offshore environments is advantageous Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Effective communication abilities Willingness to travel and work in offshore or site-based environments when required
