Job Summary
Responsible for leading, planning, and implementing the preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair of School bus, light duty vehicles, and Support equipment.
Supervise a direct staff of 2-10 employees to ensure maintenance goals are met and manage all components of vehicle maintenance and garage functions.
Maintain adherence to company policy regarding operations and safety issues, and control maintenance costs relating to personnel, purchasing, inventory control and outsourcing of repairs.

Key Requirements
Six (6) years of experience in heavy or light vehicle maintenance
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a large work group
Vocational training in automotive technology or equivalent
ASE Master Automotive, Medium or Heavy Truck and Master Automobile certifications preferred
Prior experience supervising, directing, and/or training employees preferred
Prior experience with Fleet Management Information systems (FMIS)
Advanced PC Skills - MS Office with emphasis on Excel
