Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing Services, participating in developing policies, ensuring reference materials are current, and making reports/recommendations to the Director.
  • The role requires ensuring sufficient licensed and certified nursing staff are available, developing work assignments, delegating authority, and creating a warm, personal, and positive atmosphere.
