Fermilab is seeking a Lead Vehicle & Equipment Mechanic to schedule, lead, and inspect the repair and maintenance activities for all Laboratory vehicles or equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation and conformance with federal and state environmental and safety requirements.
Responsibilities include devising and implementing maintenance schedules, ensuring adequate parts stock, performing routine and preventive service/maintenance on various vehicle systems, and assisting less experienced mechanics.
