Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Solar PV system design using PVSol or PVSyst
HV/LV electrical system design expertise
Review of EPC contractor designs for compliance
Proficiency in AutoCAD for SLDs and layouts
Knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations
Nice-to-have
Experience with BESS and Hydrogen projects
Ability to produce formal technical reports
Strong client relationship building skills
Willingness to pursue chartership
Flexible hybrid working model availability
Key Requirements
BEng/MEng Electrical Engineering Degree
Driver's license required for site access
Proven track record in renewable energy design or construction
Familiarity with IEC standards and grid compliance requirements
Experience with CDM Regulations or Safety at Work Act
