Job Summary

  • The Speech and Language Pathologist serves as a member of assigned homes’ interdisciplinary teams with primary responsibilities of facilitating communication and maximizing swallowing safety for the individuals residing in those homes.
  • Through direct and indirect services, the SLP provides evaluation, direct treatment, program planning, in-service training, and consultation with staff to ensure integration of services and maintains required records and documentation.
  • This position fulfills the Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disability (ICF/ID) standards requiring that services described above are provided by qualified personnel.
