Academic Advisors are responsible for developing, providing, evaluating and assessing academic advising services, programs and projects for the Faculty of Arts in order to support the academic success, personal development and retention of approximately 13,000 Aboriginal, domestic and international students.
Advisors build holistic relationships with students, making connections between academic planning, career aspirations, and personal well-being, and identify students at risk or in crisis.
This position involves project management, including designing initiatives, building consensus, implementing projects, managing communication, and providing leadership.
