Job Summary

  • Perform senior-level, development flight test engineer activities for the Fury UAS, emphasizing resource planning, ground and flight testing, initial issue investigation, and process improvement.
  • Lead and/or be part of a team conducting ground and flight test events at private and government-owned test ranges, collecting and analyzing test data.
  • Work closely with Engineering to develop requirements, discuss test results, and ensure safe operations in accordance with established procedures.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as test conductor/director
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience
  • Experience with developmental aircraft, weapon, or missile systems
  • Experience with manned and/or unmanned aircraft
  • Experience in aero/performance, loads/dynamics, propulsion or electrical
  • Understanding of engineering concepts and principles
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS5653
  • Expertise in National Airspace System and UAS operating rules
  • Strong computer and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with large aircraft development and DoD
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance
