This role manages and oversees Accreditation Environment of Care and Physical Environment Safety programs for multiple Advocate facilities while acting as a liaison for various safety chapters.
The incumbent serves as the primary safety point of contact during federal, state, and organizational surveys, ensuring constant readiness for inspections and supporting regulatory agency personnel.

Emergency management and environmental safety knowledge
Life safety program oversight and committee coordination
Regulatory survey preparation for Joint Commission and DNV
Hazardous waste handling and spill response capability

Experience with PCRA, ICRA, and ILSM documentation
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
2-4 years experience in safety and/or facilities management
Experience in emergency management, environmental safety, and life safety
HEM, CHSP, CSP, CIH, CHMM certifications highly preferred
