Job Summary

  • The Analyst HAZMAT is responsible for dangerous goods (DG)/hazardous materials (HAZMAT), process implementation, and shipping of DG/HAZMAT within the Technical Operations, Ground Operations and Airport departments.
  • The Analyst works closely with Operational leadership and applicable crewmembers to ensure that handling, shipping, storage, and waste management are carried out in accordance with applicable JetBlue policies and procedures, International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines, CFR 49 and applicable local airport regulations.
  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of Warehouse, Shipping, or Analyst experience
  • Pass bi-annual Hazmat Awareness and Shipping Courses
  • Working knowledge of Air and Ground Transport Shipping
  • Ability to read and understand IATA and Titles 49, 29, and 40 of the CFR
  • Must acquire and maintain a valid SIDA Badge
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver License
  • Available for overnight travel (30%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
