Job Summary
Responsible for leading, planning, and implementing the preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair of School bus, light duty vehicles, and Support equipment.
Supervise a direct staff of 2-10 employees to ensure maintenance goals are met and set the standard for excellence in the maintenance department.
Manage all components of vehicle maintenance and garage functions, including cost control, inventory, and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements
6 years of experience in heavy or light vehicle maintenance
5 years of experience managing a large work group
Vocational training in automotive technology or equivalent
ASE Master Automotive, Medium or Heavy Truck, and Master Automobile certifications preferred
Prior experience supervising, directing, and/or training employees
Prior experience with Fleet Management Information systems (FMIS)
Advanced PC Skills - MS Office with emphasis on Excel
