Job Summary

  • As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Category Manager will lead, develop and implement category and supply resiliency strategies, supplier performance management, contract negotiations, and identify and lead cost savings opportunities.
  • The role will be responsible for ensuring the strategies support sourcing lowest total cost of ownership (TCO), while also meeting other business requirements, including engineering, quality, commercial and product roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of category management experience
  • Procurement related experience (direct and indirect)
  • Lean manufacturing techniques and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel user
  • Microsoft Project user (highly desirable)
  • Requires some travel
