Job Summary
Manage the safe production of coal and the installation and movement of equipment & machinery that support coal production for one shift.
Plans efficient mining activities and procedures that safely maximize productivity and profitability of the shift.
Works with the Safety department and Mine Foreman regarding all safety related activities, including: audits safety programs, inspects operations and reviews accident investigation to reduce and prevent any potential accident situation.

Key Requirements
8-10 years of related experience in mine operations
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mining electronics or related field
6-8 years of experience
Thorough knowledge of coal mining operations
Supervisory and management skills and experience
Special certifications (Mine foreman, fireboss, rescue, first aid)
Basic computer skills (Oracle, word processing, spreadsheet)
Available to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shift rotation
