Job Summary

  • This role supports contracts with the U.S. Federal Government requiring all personnel to be United States citizens.
  • You will design and maintain the core security stack including Vulnerability Management, SIEM, and SOAR tools in a native AWS environment.
  • The team seeks an engineer who treats security as code, builds high-fidelity tools for the SOC, and leverages AI to accelerate development.

Salary

Base: $159,600 - $239,400 USD (Reston); Additional locations: $144,400 - $258,000 USD; Bonus/Equity: Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan and stock grants

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Deep experience engineering within AWS
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Advanced skills in Python programming
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Ability to obtain US government security clearance

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building GitLab CI or Jenkins pipelines
  • Specific experience with Amazon EKS
  • Proficiency using AI tools for development
  • Experience securing large-scale SaaS products
  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly security clearance preferred
