Key Requirements
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification
State license from Virginia Department of Health Professionals
Active NBRC RRT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
1 year clinical respiratory care experience preferred
New graduates must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months
