Key Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • One year of security or public safety experience
  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
  • Valid driver's license required
  • State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course if applicable
  • Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) for Illinois teammates
  • Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license for Wisconsin teammates
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) use within 90 days
