Advocate Health is seeking a fully remote Pre-bill Coder Specialist for their inpatient coding team. The position requires extensive coding experience, certification, and proficiency in coding guidelines, with a focus on accuracy and collaboration with various departments to ensure effective reimbursement processes
Job Summary
Prioritizes and codes and abstracts high dollar charts, day after discharge, as well as interim charts, at regular intervals, with a high degree of accuracy.
Collaborates with other departments to clarify pre-bill coding documentation issues such for inpatient and outpatient to insure reimbursement and clinical outcomes.
