The Advanced Materials Department is a multi-disciplinary team that provides materials engineering expertise for every phase of a program.
This position will balance multiple activities including but not limited to: support multiple Leidos programs in the areas of material selection, metallurgy and fabrication, composites, ceramics, process improvement opportunities, root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, Parts, Materials, & Processes (PM&P) Plans, and qualification activities.
Leidos’ Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Materials and Process Engineer to join our team supporting the Advanced Materials Department.

Salary
$107,900.00 - $195,050.00

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's degree with 6+ years applicable experience
Strong technical background in materials processes, materials selection, and/or metallography
Experience managing and executing M&P and materials testing
Resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate
US Citizen and possess (or be eligible for) DOD Secret Clearance
