  • Conveys basic through advanced knowledge in field of expertise and conducts well planned, organized and relevant competency-based unit/department orientation and education programs for new and existing staff.
  • Works side-by-side with staff to effectively train and assess staff's progress towards established learning outcomes and level of performance, providing real-time feedback.
  • Serves as a clinical resource, mentor and preceptor for staff and influences the workforce to achieve a high level of performance reflecting the nursing strategic plan, vision and values of the organization.
