Key Requirements

  • PhD in neuroscience, physiology, biomedical engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in systems/integrative physiology, in vivo mouse experimentation, viral vector approaches, transgenic mouse strategies, or neuroanatomical tracing/multiplex ISH
  • Advanced conceptual knowledge of autonomic, respiratory or sensory neurobiology
  • Strong publication record relative to career stage
  • Ability to independently design, execute and troubleshoot complex experiments
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
