Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards CEng
  • Proficiency with IES, Hevacomp, and NBS software
  • Experience designing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
  • Ability to conduct detailed thermal calculations
  • Knowledge of energy reduction and decarbonisation methods

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Commercial, Residential, Education, or Rail sectors
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and MicroStation
  • Client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of building physics and passive design
  • Experience with commissioning and performance evaluation
  • Ability to lead diverse delivery teams locally and remotely

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification or equivalent progress
  • UK residency proof of 5 years or longer for security clearance
