Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Trauma Program Director and Nurse Registrars establishes and maintains efficient operations of the Trauma Registry to meet the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation and other data collection and other reporting requirements.
Reviews the medical record both concurrently and retrospectively to abstract information for inclusion in the Trauma Registry and abstracts data concurrently for the National Trauma Bank and for the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP).
