Job Summary

  • As a Manager, Nursing, your ability to multitask and oversee multiple areas of the unit allows for the successful flow of information and consistent management of needs to achieve quality care.
  • Ensure safe and appropriate staffing levels and skills during all hours of operation; maintain ongoing communication with staff regarding performance; develop and assess department goals and objectives.
  • Develop the resident care plan and ensure implementation through the interdisciplinary team; develop, implement and evaluate in conjunction with Senior Director of a department Quality Improvement Plan.

Key Requirements

  • Registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse

  • Minimum three (3) years acute/continuing care clinical experience preferred
  • MDS proficiency preferred
