This role ensures surgical teams are fully equipped with sterile instrumentation to deliver world-class care.
The technician is responsible for processing, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments using various equipment including ultrasonic cleaners and heat sealers.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lift heavy surgical case carts weighing up to 200lbs while maintaining compliance with Joint Commission regulations.

Must-have
Process surgical instruments in decontamination area
Assemble and sterilize instrument trays
Operate steam and hydrogen peroxide sterilizers
Maintain TJC and CMS regulatory compliance
Lift trays up to 25lbs and carts up to 200lbs
Nice-to-have
Working knowledge of bacteriology and medical terminology
Skill in performing calmly during stressful situations
Ability to orient and train team members
Key Requirements
At least 6 months working experience in Sterile Processing
Graduate of accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech program
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification preferred
