Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist (III) is a specialized health care practitioner who assesses, educates, treats, and offers preventive and health care promotion to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies across the care continuum.
The RT works generally out of the Intensive Care Unit and collaborates with both medical and nursing leadership in care delivery and service line coverage, but may care for patients’ site-wide, based on clinical need.
Takes an active role within the development of the Rehabilitation Services, delivering In-Service training, facilitating/delivering the training and development of non-therapy staff and sharing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
