The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual and group activities, maintaining communication between employees, residents, families, and external agencies, and assisting with transportation and discharge planning.
The work environment is usually low to moderate noise level and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
