** Ameritrack LLC is seeking a Write Up Inspector/Rail Car Estimator to perform inspections, evaluations, and estimations of repairs for rail cars. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, knowledge of industry regulations, and the ability to work independently while ensuring quality and accuracy in their work. **

Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the inspection, researching, evaluation, and estimation of repairs in addition to the proper coding of and preparation of Billing Repair Card estimates & documentation required to maintain company, lessee, and customer fleets.
  • The incumbent must be trained in various inspection processes per FRA regulations and possess a working knowledge of current Fleet Repair Standards, AAR & FRA regulations.
