Key Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Planning, Real Estate, Business, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in negotiating/appraising commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential properties
  • Considerable experience with business cases and financial analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
  • Working knowledge of financial concepts (DCF, NPV, IRR)
  • Thorough knowledge of Municipal Act, Expropriation Act, and zoning by-laws
