Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Staff Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform Team to build a platform for reliable, scalable, AI-powered streaming and batch data applications.
Key responsibilities include working with stream processing technologies (Kafka and Flink) to build a continuously available large-scale event streaming platform and providing leadership and mentoring across the organisation.
The role requires a strong engineering background with hands-on experience in stream technologies, cloud-based technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and excellent programming skills in Java, Python, Scala or C#.
