This role is responsible for accelerating operational perfection across the largest Castrol plant in Baton Rouge by driving Overall Equipment Effectiveness improvements.
The ideal candidate will combine mechanical engineering credibility with data-driven analysis to embed sustainable standards like AM/PM and 5S.
Candidates must be prepared to participate in rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous operational coverage.

Must-have
Mechanical Engineering degree required
7+ years manufacturing CI leadership experience
Root cause analysis and defect elimination
OEE improvement and loss tree analysis
SMED, centerlining, and 5S implementation
Control of Work and safety compliance
Rotating shift work availability
Nice-to-have
MS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Data analytics and BI tool proficiency
Kaizen event facilitation experience
Global network collaboration skills
Statistical thinking coaching ability
Key Requirements
BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
7+ years in high mix/high throughput operations
Proficiency with formal RCA methodologies
Experience leading multi-field projects from charter to startup
