Job Summary

  • This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and capable of working independently and develop his/her career and experience in the nuclear field.
  • The qualified individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing engineering work in compliance with AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy QA programs and applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • AtkinsRéalis is looking for Piping Engineer(s) to be a part of our team in supporting the design of new nuclear power plants and the operation and refurbishment of existing CANDU nuclear power plants.

Key Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical
  • Knowledge of mechanical and piping systems
  • Working knowledge of CSA N285.0 and CSA B51, CSA N289 and ASME Section III and ANSI B31.1 codes
  • Design engineering experience in nuclear class 2, 3 and 6 piping systems
  • Experience in Stress Analysis using PipeStress, CaesarII, AutoPipe, MATLAB, MathCAD, ANSYS Mechanical, and LSDYNA
