Job Summary

  • Operates South Unit for the Manufacture, separation, purification, storage, processing and recovery of EDC, anhydrous HCL, and Ethylene; Storage and Transfer of Chlorine; Reprocessing of Intermediate Feedstock (Catoxid); Thermal destruction of chlorinated organic process vent streams.
  • Cleans strainers and flame arrestors containing hazardous process solids, and packing materials, places contents in a DOT approved hazardous waste storage drum, labels, and transports drums to the onsite hazardous drum storage area.
  • Completes other routine or assigned duties as necessary to meet EDC/VCM department production goals in a safe, environmentally sound, and cost effective manner.
