Job Summary
As a healthcare professional, the Athletic Trainer position ensures safe participation in athletics focused on injury and illness prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning, organization and administration, and professional responsibility.
This position works directly with multiple healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to student-athlete wellbeing.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive healthcare and oversite of assigned sports teams and all university athletes, holding scheduled hours for injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, and providing secondary care in various sports.

Key Requirements
Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
Board Certified Athletic Training
Licensed Athletic Trainer by MN Board of Health (or eligible)
Current CPR/AED certification for Health Care Professional
Two (2) years of experience (preferred)
