JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Data Center Electrical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer located in the Toronto metro area to provide reliable, timely, efficient support to our Data Center / Mission Critical team

Job Summary

  • JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Data Center Electrical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer located in the Toronto metro area to provide reliable, timely, efficient support to our Data Center / Mission Critical team.
  • This position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the project organization, and requires independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position which, while home based in the Toronto metro area will require a willingness to travel up to 25% to project sites across Canada and US.

  • QA/QC and Commissioning program execution
  • Electrical and EPMS QA/QC inspections
  • Develop Start-up test forms
  • Develop Functional Test scripts
  • Develop Integrated Systems Test scripts

  • Working knowledge of Mechanical and Plumbing
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant electrical engineering/field-testing experience
  • Minimum 3 years data center commissioning field services
  • Commissioning Professional certification or NETA testing certification
  • Proficiency in QA/QC and Cx software applications
  • Ability to use electrical testing meters and equipment
