Job Summary

  • This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population of large animal species in a fast-paced hospital setting at Iowa State University's Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center.
  • The technician supports a wide range of medical and surgical procedures while playing an integral role in a dynamic teaching environment that includes veterinary students, interns, and residents.
  • Under the direction of a licensed veterinarian, this role provides intermediate care for ill and injured equine and farm animal patients including administering anesthesia and monitoring vital signs.
