The Fire Life Safety Director (FLSD) is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Comprehensive Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plan and ensuring staff readiness for various emergencies, including active shooters and medical situations.
This is an exempt, in-person position requiring the FLSD to be on-site Monday through Friday and available on-call 24/7 for emergencies, with no work-from-home option.
Key responsibilities include community and industry relationship building, ensuring FDNY compliance, supervising security staff, and managing incident response and preparation.
