This clinical position provides daily veterinary care and manages a census of approximately 15,000 animals across barrier and non-barrier facilities.
The incumbent will oversee anesthesia, surgery, and post-operative care while consulting with principal investigators on study design and surgical planning.
This is a non-tenure line faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level with opportunities for teaching and scholarly activities.

DVM or VMD degree from AVMA accredited school
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in US state
Experience with swine calves sheep rabbits rodents
Minimum two years experience in animal-based research
Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively
Nice-to-have
USDA accredited veterinarian status
Advanced training in laboratory animal medicine
Specialty in veterinary anesthesiology or surgery
Experience teaching veterinary residents and students
Project management skills and experience
Key Requirements
