Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for managing and growing Teledyne FLIR's business with Navy and Maritime OEM customers through strategic relationship building.
  • The successful candidate will present advanced Electro-Optical, Radar, UAS, and Counter-UAS technologies to secure product orders and development contracts.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time and possess the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 70 pounds for demonstrations.

Must-have

  • U.S. Navy and DoD acquisition process knowledge
  • Shipboard/Maritime systems expertise
  • Unmanned Systems technology understanding
  • Thermal imaging system sales capability
  • Proposal capture management experience

Nice-to-have

  • Minimum rank of LCDR/SCPO
  • Familiarity with major US shipbuilding OEMs
  • Night vision technology applications
  • Trusted coach relationships in customer orgs
  • Experience with competitive bidding protests

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or technical equivalent
  • 10+ years in business acquisition or program development
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% domestically
