Job Summary
This position will maintain and repair of State-maintained highways and interstates within Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Stanly & Union counties.
Work will consist of a wide range of progressively responsible maintenance tasks in the preventive maintenance, repair and construction of State maintained highways and interstates.
This position will provide all state benefits including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement.

Key Requirements
Valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver’s License with N endorsement
Ability to operate CDL required equipment/trucks with manual and automatic transmissions
High school diploma or GED and three years of experience operating related equipment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Ability to climb, bend, transverse steep and uneven terrain, and work in extreme temperatures
