Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and complete charting and documentation accurately to ensure the highest degree of quality care.
Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation, and equipment and supply management to maintain a well-educated and safe nursing service department.
