The Certified Medical Assistant works alongside Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to provide direct patient care according to state and federal guidelines.
This position plays an important role in the ambulatory setting by performing clinical and administrative duties and helping patients feel at ease and understand provider instructions.

Medication administration excluding narcotics

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred
0-3 years experience for Medical Assistant I
3-5 years experience for Medical Assistant II
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required
One of several specified Medical Assistant certifications required
