Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Orthopedic Technician for its Greensburg location, responsible for supporting orthopedic physicians by performing various medical and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and experience in a clinical setting, be able to assist in patient care, and effectively manage medical documentation

Job Summary

  • Assists physicians and extenders in providing proper medical and clerical support for the various orthopedic practice locations.
  • Performs various related procedures including but not limited to wound care, dressings, EKGs, removal of sutures/staples, application/removal of orthopedic casts/splints, and drawing up injections.
  • Educates patients on proper wound and pin care, cast care and postoperative care according to provider instruction and standards.
