** The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Enterprise Optimization Analyst to support the performance modeling, analysis, and optimization of space missions. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant engineering degree, experience in constellation design and orbital mechanics, and programming skills in languages such as Python and MATLAB. **

Job Summary

  • Independently and collaboratively conduct deep dives, trade studies, and assessments to define and address customer needs in the areas of space architecture design and optimization, trade space exploration, and portfolio analysis.
  • Leverage in-house and commercial- and government-off-the-shelf engineering analysis tools to deliver technical insights through analytical deep dives, trade studies, and assessments.
  • Develop and present timely and technically accurate presentations and reports that clearly communicate analysis results and provide recommended solutions to technical leads, management, and customers.

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree in aerospace, astronautical, or mechanical engineering, physics, operations research, mathematics, or a related field of science or engineering
  • 2 or more years of relevant and progressive professional or academic experience
  • 4 or more years of relevant and progressive professional experience and/or a Ph.D. (for Sr. Member)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
  • U.S. citizenship required
