Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5-7 years Canadian full-cycle payroll experience
  • Workday HCM and Payroll proficiency
  • PCP designation from National Payroll Institute
  • Experience supervising at least one payroll professional
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial Canadian payroll legislation

Nice-to-have

  • Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and AI tools
  • Understanding of US payroll systems
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
  • Multi-entity payroll management experience

Key Requirements

  • 5-7 years Canadian payroll experience
  • PCP certification required
  • Supervisory experience with direct reports
  • Advanced Excel and Workday skills
