Job Summary

  • Process Improvement Engineer serves as an internal consultant, supporting process improvement initiatives, conducting productivity assessments and data analytics for all three mission areas (Patient Care, Research and Education) of the medical center.
  • This position works closely with various departments, leaders and front line staff to create and implement strategies for process enhancement and tracks the impact of changes by monitoring the process and outcomes measures.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, Operational Excellence or other relevant degree
  • 2-3 years process improvement/productivity management experience
  • Familiarity with the DMAIC and Lean tools and concepts
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt desired
  • Health care experience desired
