Job Summary
As a valued member of our maintenance team, you will assume ultimate responsibility for providing high quality care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks, mechanical operations, building inspections, minor on demand repairs, heavy duty cleaning, moving of furniture, grounds maintenance/work, and janitorial tasks etc. in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare, the facility, trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures.
