  • The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job: Interprets, profiles, and dispenses medication orders, Supervises production of compounded products, Maintains knowledge of local, state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice as well as Joint Commission standards.
  • These activities may include, but are not limited to: Identifying medication process issues and implementing solutions, Participation in Code Blue activities, Drug Utilization Evaluations, Adverse Drug Event Reporting, Working with Inter-professional teams to optimize order sets, automated dispensing cabinet inventory, etc, medication related policies, etc.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • BS in Pharmacy with a PharmD preferred
  • Kentucky Pharmacist Registration or eligible
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency preferred
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
