Unclemikes is seeking a Mechanical Design Technician to support the development of manufacturing processes for ammunition production at their Anoka, MN facility. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering, particularly using SolidWorks
Job Summary
Develop conceptual and final design solutions, including detailed mechanical design, assembly, parts list generation, and engineering documentation release for new manufacturing equipment.
Use engineering experience and principles to create and design manufacturing systems for cost savings, capacity expansion, quality improvements, and safety abatement.
Investigate and troubleshoot production difficulties, take corrective measures, and assist in developing improvements to the design process and process tools.
